X-Men: Days Of Future Past Torrent

X-Men is known for being the host of superheroes with the most confusing chronology in cinema. Three major films, plus a prelude and two long Wolverine were produced with inconsistencies between them too great to list. The first X-Men was part of the first wave of superhero movies, after all, when the concern was still sticky would work for the public or not. Not going through the minds of executives the question of creating a cohesive universe to superheroes on screen.

Fourteen years after Wolverine has unsheathed his claws for the first time in the cinema, the timing is completely different: the adhesive worked - a lot! - And the public wants something more than traditional film trilogy that was the rule so long. But how to make the super-heroic salad something coherent X-Men again?

The answer is clear for any nerd: time travel! A small change in the past and you have an excuse to push the reset button and start over with no strings attached. Better yet ... the mutants in the comics have one of the best time travel stories ever created, Days of Future Past, that inspired by James Cameron and his Terminator.

The seventh film of the children of the atom, X-Men - Days of Future Past takes the basic premise of the comic and adapting the confusing reality of the film franchise. In the plot, after the murder of an industrialist weapons, Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage), the U.S. government approved the creation of an army of mutant hunters robots, the Sentinels. In the bleak future, a small cell of X-Men resists threat and creates a plan to save his race: submit awareness of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back to the '70s to prevent the event, changing the course of history.

Two generations of X-Men (classic and X-Men: First Class) are pooled in these two time points, adding casts (there's even a scene with Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy, both teachers Xavier) and ignoring events that would unexplained even with all the creativity of the writers (such as post-credits of X-Men 3 and X-Men scenes: Origins - Wolverine, ignored here). Explanations and theories abound to justify all this and the result is decent, though not survive scrutiny any more than 30 seconds.

The seventies ambiance quite fun begins with references to films and thrillers assault of time, the better exploitation style, with well-selected songs and giving an unpretentious air of adventure. But in the end, what works best in X-Men - Days of Future Past is the ever crashed in comics - even in the worst phases - the interactions between the characters and the action scenes.

Back to the director's chair vacated it after X2, Bryan Singer knows how to coordinate a talk and extract the good times great cast. Have the fight - especially the future - holds the attention especially worshiped by presenting mutants, as Blink (Fan Bingbing), Sunspot (Adam Corner), Bishop (Omar Sy) and Apache (Booboo Stewart); and choreograph powers and abilities worthy of the pages of Marvel panels. Have sprinter Mercury (Evan Peters) surprisingly steals the show in one of the most inspired sequences of the film.

Despite the effort, however, Fox repeats the same mistakes of the past. Unlike the bright First Class, which prioritized a great story to properly enjoy the cast, X-Men - Days of Future Past is much more concerned with cleaning the narrative that the plot provides. The film seems more an excuse to retire the old cast and bring new players to the franchise by leveraging the core of Michael Fassbender (Magneto), Jennifer Lawrence (Mystique in version simplificadíssima makeup) and McAvoy, an adventure than the height the 50-year history of the mutants.

Moreover, the need for unnecessary turns again paralyzes the franchise. Show the corrected future was even necessary since the new phase even started and already know your final? The post-credits scene could not have any real relationship to what we saw? And worse ... The concluding scene, which to put the train back on track in order to give a moment "catch" to the public, it shows again that producers do not have the slightest idea what to do next. It's things like that make it difficult to drive the franchise, foreshadowing another phase of confusion in the X-Men screens.

Some things do not travel in time fixes, apparently.
